A New Year, A New Trustee

January saw us welcome Janice Davison to the Board of Trustees. As a finance professional, Janice brings with her over 30 years of financial expertise in both the public and educational sectors. She was the Chief Finance Officer for a multi-academy trust in Bicester, which included both secondary and primary schools, prior to her early retirement in 2021. She spent the majority of her career working within local government. This included providing financial support and challenge to schools’ governing bodies, together with local authority budget holders and educational professionals.

Before joining EAC, Janice served as a Trustee for a multi academy education trust in Witney and she was also a governor for a primary school in Bicester. For ten years, she owned and managed a small portfolio of rental properties.

Janice has lived in the same village in Buckinghamshire for most of her life and is immensely proud of being part of a farming community.  She served on the Parish Council for 15 years, with the last two years as Chairman.

Janice has a keen interest in gardening and loves spending time with her grandchildren.
